Culprits Being Designated for Defeats in Azerbaijan and a Process of 'Witch Hunts'

Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, wrote:
“If the allegations against the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan regarding his dismissal and accusations of being an agent of Russian special services are true (let's hope this will be officially confirmed or denied soon), then:

1. In Azerbaijan, a process of designating scapegoats for the failure of unleashed war plans and conducting 'witch hunts' has begun. This is at least, at this moment, an indirect confession of defeat.
2. Turkey has expanded its influence over the Azerbaijani armed forces, decapitating them and almost entirely taking them under its control. In other words, Turkey is not only taking command of the aerial forces but is also operationally managing the entire Azerbaijani army. This marks the end of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, an almost total surrender to Turkey.
3. This is a clear demarche against Russia. Turkey is solving the issue of cutting Azerbaijan off from Russia, disrupting Russian-Azerbaijani military-political relations, and turning Azerbaijan into its complete outpost. From a military-political standpoint, this is a key phase in Turkey's strategic objective to push Russia out of the South Caucasus, irrespective of what the outcome of the war will be for Azerbaijan.”
