Zohrap Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov Held a Phone Conversation
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Zohrap Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov, have held a phone conversation, reported Anna Naghdalyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Mnatsakanyan comprehensively presented the latest developments regarding the situation created along the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan as a result of Azerbaijani aggression.
Minister Mnatsakanyan strongly condemned Turkey's direct military-political and military-technical involvement in the military operations carried out by Azerbaijan, both along the contact line between Artsakh and Azerbaijan and at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Mnatsakanyan also expressed concern over Turkey's involvement in the recruitment and transfer of foreign militant terrorists to Azerbaijan for participation in military actions.
Actions of extraregional countries aimed at undermining regional peace and security were deemed unacceptable by both sides.
