Turkish Actress Defends Kardashian: Threatened with Deportation to Armenia

Turkish actress Deniz Çakır has responded to the vulgar comments made by the anchor of Turkish 'Show TV' regarding American-Armenian television star Kim Kardashian, according to ermenihaber.am.

News commentator Ece Üner, addressing Kardashian's remarks about the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Armenia, stated: "Kim Kardashian loves to showcase her great 'origin' on screen, and we have all seen it up close. Did she also draw from that 'origin' when making these remarks?" This crude comment was rebuffed by actress Deniz Çakır, who criticized Üner for her ugly behavior and expressed her surprise at how such a person could host a major news bulletin.

Some Turkish Twitter users reacted harshly to Çakır's comments, threatening to deport her to Armenia if she finds it so difficult to hear such words about Kim.

It is worth noting that earlier, a member of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Bülent Turan, accused the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) of being a pro-Armenian party, referencing CHP member Ünal Çeviköz's statements criticizing Turkey's policy on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
