Banks Will Not Impose Penalties on Call-Up and Volunteer Soldiers
The Union of Armenian Banks, representing commercial banks operating in Armenia, has reached a decision during a meeting held at the Central Bank of Armenia on September 27. Due to the state of war, the monthly repayments on loans for clients who are either conscripted or have volunteered will not be considered late if payment is not made after September 27. This applies based on a certificate issued by local military commissariats, and such delays will not be reflected in the credit registry. Furthermore, no penalties or fines will be imposed for this period.
