Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Continues to Publish Fake Photos
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan continues to publish fake photographs and videos across various platforms. This was reported by the Artsakh information headquarters.
This time, the ministry posted a photo on its official Twitter account showing a military vehicle purportedly transporting Armenian soldiers exploding. The Azerbaijani side presented a photo of soldiers who were allegedly killed in the blast as evidence of their army's effective operations. It should be noted that the photo has since been removed.
Recall that on September 27, Azerbaijani forces launched a large-scale attack on Artsakh, also targeting civilian populations. The Artsakh armed forces shot down 7 helicopters, 73 drones, and 151 units of armored vehicles, mostly tanks, as well as one aircraft, 82 vehicles, 10 armored personnel carriers, and one “TOS-1A” heavy flamethrower system, along with one each of “Smerch” and “Uragan” multiple rocket launch systems.
The adversary has over 790 casualties, with 180 towards the Karvachar direction, and more than 1900 injured. On the Armenian side, preliminary data suggests there are 80 casualties and around 200 injured, with about 120 currently receiving treatment, while others have recovered and returned to service.
Azerbaijan's Armed Forces have also targeted the military and civilian infrastructures of both Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in the deaths of 1 civilian in the Vardenis region, 3 in Martakert, and 2 in Martuni city (a grandmother and grandson).
A state of emergency has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh since September 27.
