These Are Long-Term Planned Actions by the Turkish-Azerbaijani Tandem, Says Arzrun Hovhannisyan
Such organized wars, operations, and strikes are not planned in a day, a week, or a month; all of this is part of long-term planned actions.
In a conversation with Tert.am in Vardenis, Arzrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense, stated, "As the leadership of the Republic of Armenia has announced, all of this is a coordinated effort by the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem. In recent months, there have been thousands of pieces of evidence: visits by Turkish leaders to Baku, reciprocal visits from Baku to Turkey, joint statements, preparations for provocations, blaming the Armenian side, their continuous large-scale military exercises, the transfer of military transport aviation, and so on."
He emphasized that demining rescue operations, fire extinguishing efforts, and other measures have been carried out for the damaged infrastructure. Fortunately, there are no serious injuries reported; cases have mainly involved light burns and shrapnel wounds.
He noted that they met with the governor of Gegharkunik, and the entire leadership is committed to the task at hand.
