Nikol Pashinyan Has Telephone Conversation with UN Secretary-General

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the latter's initiative. The Prime Minister addressed the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh border area and emphasized the fact of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that unlike previous years' escalations, this one is characterized by Turkey's active and biased stance and destabilizing direct involvement in Azerbaijani actions.

The UN Secretary-General expressed deep concern about the current situation and developments, highlighting the need to resume the peace process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
