Let's Try to Continue Living and Spending Our Resources as in Peaceful Times. Edmond Marukyan

Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, writes on his Facebook page:

“Dear citizens, Armenia has been under a state of emergency for two days now. We are all part of the war. However, I need to convey an important message that perhaps no one wants to express in their own name.

We must not hinder the civil circulation within our state; in other words, we need to ensure it is as secure as it was before—by not keeping our money under the pillow, but rather spending it on various needs. This generates the tax revenues necessary for the state, which in turn supports our army and other primary needs of the state.

Therefore, let us try to continue living and spending our resources as much as possible, as if it were peaceful times, while also ensuring income for the state budget, which covers expenditures such as soldiers’ meals, weapons, and supplies.
