Artsakh Defense Army Commander Condemns the Downing of Armenian Armed Forces Aircraft by Turkish F-16

Artsakh Defense Army Commander Jalal Harutyunyan condemns the downing of an Armenian armed forces aircraft by a Turkish F-16 in the territory of Armenia on the morning of September 29.

In response to a question from Armenpress about the incident, Harutyunyan stated that the act is condemnable, and the Defense Army will take necessary self-defense measures against the actions of the Turkish air force in the conflict zone.

“Today, an Armenian SU-25 aircraft was downed by a Turkish F-16 in the airspace of the Republic of Armenia. We condemn this aggressive attack. Given the current situation, the Artsakh Defense Army will resort to necessary self-defense measures against the actions of the Turkish air force in the conflict zone,” Harutyunyan said.
