Video: Prime Minister Releases Segment of Interview on Artsakh Issue
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has shared a segment of his interview regarding the Artsakh issue on his Facebook page. The interview took place on September 26, before the large-scale aggression from Azerbaijan.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister emphasizes that it was not he who reached out to Azerbaijani President Aliyev with any requests; rather, it was Aliyev who personally approached him for a request. Pashinyan wrote the points of the Dushanbe agreement by hand, and they recorded that an agreement had been reached. He noted that the lives of Armenian soldiers were saved, which he was pleased about. However, today Aliyev claims that at that time he did not take advantage of the opportunity and allowed the revolutionary government to take shape, expressing concern not over the Nagorno-Karabakh issue but rather that the revolutionary wave would not reach Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister also revealed other noteworthy information. For further details, view the video.
