UN To Hold Security Council Meeting on Artsakh Issue This Tuesday

The United Nations has decided to convene an urgent Security Council meeting regarding the military operations taking place in Artsakh. According to international news agencies, the Security Council meeting will be held this Tuesday, with representatives from the permanent member countries participating.

On the early morning of September 27, the Azerbaijani side, violating all possible international agreements, launched an attack along the entire contact line with Artsakh, with effective support from the Turkish army, using all types of weaponry at its disposal, including air force. The Azerbaijani army also shelled the state border of the Republic of Armenia.

After fierce battles, the Armenian armed forces managed to thwart the opponent's primary objectives and continue to advance their successes in pushing the enemy back.

As a result of Azerbaijan's actions, 31 soldiers were killed on September 27, and 27 soldiers were killed on September 28. Due to the impacts on the civilian population, two citizens have been reported dead, one of whom is a 9-year-old girl. According to the latest reports, the number of injured is close to 200.
