The Armenian Diaspora is Highly Concerned: Georgian Parliament Member
Georgian Parliament member Henzel Mkoyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Once again, there are military operations along the entire border of Artsakh. Azerbaijan, with the support of Turkey, has launched an offensive against the heroic defenders of Artsakh, continuing its policy of violating peaceful negotiations and the proposals of the Minsk Group, aiming to reclaim Artsakh through military means. Innocent blood is being shed, and peaceful civilians have also become targets.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia was one of the first to call for an end to military operations and to move towards peaceful negotiations. The same is being said by all countries and international organizations around the world. The Armenian diaspora is deeply concerned; they want to contribute to the moral and material support of our heroic people’s defense efforts. Naturally, the Armenian community in Javakheti wishes the same.
We have always supported our motherland and assisted with whatever means we could. According to the authorities in Armenia, the defense of Artsakh is currently in reliable hands, and the army is capable of repelling any aggression; therefore, dear youth, I urge you not to take unnecessary actions and to not hinder the army from fulfilling its sacred mission. I am confident that justice will prevail."
