No Political Compromise Ceasefire Opportunities in Sight: Arayik Harutyunyan

During a press conference, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, was asked about the veracity of reports regarding the recapture of the "Lele Tepe" height. He stated, "Today, no height holds significance because a full-scale war is underway; tomorrow we may face a retreat or, conversely, an advance. We must be prepared for much longer combat operations. In the context of a full-scale war, gaining or giving positions is temporary in nature. This will be our tactic. We do not yet see any opportunities for a political compromise ceasefire."

Harutyunyan also mentioned that the number of volunteers is significant, so much so that they cannot fulfill everyone’s desire to be sent to the frontline. Speaking about negotiations with Azerbaijan, the President of Artsakh noted that dialogue is impossible with a government that exhibits such behavior. "You see Turkey's audacity today. We are fighting against Turkish-Azerbaijani forces. From a tactical standpoint, the enemy has not seized any significant positions," Harutyunyan stated.
