If Soldiers Make Contact, They Put Their Lives at Risk: Artsrun Hovhannisyan
If soldiers make contact, they put their lives at risk. This was stated today, September 28, by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, during a briefing, referring to the fact that the relatives of soldiers on the front line are constantly trying to call and get in touch with their loved ones.
“We understand that communication is not functioning well and you want to receive information every moment, but this habit is hindering us in this case. It disrupts the management system, affects the networks, and they are becoming overloaded. There are also security considerations. For the soldiers, especially the enlisted personnel, if you try to call and establish contact every minute, they will endanger their lives if they make contact. UAVs and artillery reconnaissance use these communication routes to target our soldiers. We kindly ask you to limit such actions as much as possible, which will allow the networks to operate efficiently without overload,” he noted.
