Artsakh Defense Army Shoots Down Azerbaijani Aircraft
The Artsakh Defense Army has shot down an Azerbaijani aircraft. This was announced by Vahram Poghosyan, the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, during a broadcast on H1.
“Today we can clearly state that an enemy aircraft has been shot down in the vicinity of Martuni,” he noted.
On the early morning of September 27, the Azerbaijani side, violating all possible international agreements, launched an attack with the effective support of the Turkish army along the entire line of contact with Artsakh, employing all types of weaponry at their disposal, including air force.
The Azerbaijani army has also shelled the state border of the Republic of Armenia.
After fierce battles, the Armenian forces succeeded in thwarting the main objectives of the enemy and continue to advance on their successes to push the adversary back.
As a result of Azerbaijan's actions, 31 military personnel were killed on September 27, and 27 on September 28. Civilian casualties from the bombardments include two individuals, one of whom is a 9-year-old girl.
