Approximately 36 Drones, 47 Armored Vehicles Damaged, Over 400 Personnel Casualties Reported
A press conference held by the Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Arthur Sarkisyan, took place a short while ago at the Artsakh information headquarters. He presented the latest information regarding the situation along the contact line.
“As of now, combat operations continue in the northern, southern, and southeastern directions. The intensity and high dynamics of the combat operations are characteristic of modern brigade warfare, and I would say that, at times, they are increasing hour by hour,” he stated.
In those mentioned directions, the Defense Army's units are engaged in resolute defensive battles, repelling the attempts of the opposing forces, which also includes numerous large armored unit advances, thereby inflicting significant losses in both personnel and equipment.
“As of today, around 5 PM, the following losses have been recorded for the opponent: about 36 drones, 47 armored vehicles, and over 400 irreversible personnel casualties,” Arthur Sarkisyan noted.
The two-day intense fighting has not demoralized our personnel, emphasized the Deputy Commander of the Defense Army. “On the contrary, this is allowing the young officers and soldiers of the Artsakh army to acquire rich experience in conducting combat operations and to skillfully master new tactical maneuvers. The combat spirit of the personnel is high, and they are ready to accomplish all further assigned tasks and to gain logical victory. We are stronger than ever, as each of us realizes that the physical existence of the Armenian people in the Artsakh region is at stake. Without a doubt, in terms of rear, technical, and especially combat support, the Defense Army has no issues,” Arthur Sarkisyan assured.
He called on everyone to rely solely on official information and to refrain from unofficial reports circulated by unreliable sources in order to stay away from panic.
