PHOTOS: Large Influx of Blood Donors at Blood Transfusion Center

“The Blood Transfusion Center is right now” – This was the caption of a photo shared by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan's wife, Gohar Abajyan, showcasing the gigantic line of citizens willing to donate blood outside the Blood Transfusion Center.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, seeking public support, called for citizens to become voluntary donors to replenish the necessary stock of blood reserves.

“Following the events unfolding in Artsakh, many of you are approaching various medical organizations to donate blood. Dear citizens, we urge you to apply only to the ‘Prof. R. Yolyan Blood Transfusion Center’ or the regional branches of blood banks for donation,” the ministry's statement indicated. “Please note that your blood type and Rh factor are not significant.”
