VIDEO: The Death Toll from the Kharkiv Plane Crash Has Reached 25
The number of victims from the AN-26 crash in the Kharkiv region has reached 25, earlier reports indicated 22 fatalities. This information was reported by TASS, citing a statement from the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office.
“In addition to the 25 fatalities, two individuals have been hospitalized; their condition is assessed as critical. Search operations continue for the remaining individuals who were on board the aircraft,” the Prosecutor General's Office clarified.
According to RT, the cause of the plane's crash may have been a malfunction in the engine operation. Data confirmed by the State Emergency Service indicates that there were 27 people on the plane. Reports also indicate that a criminal case has been opened based on violations of the rules related to flight preparations and executions, which led to the disaster and severe consequences. Earlier, there were reports of 18 casualties.
