Three Teachers at Artem Mikoyan School Number 166 Infected with Coronavirus

Three first-grade teachers at Artem Mikoyan School Number 166 tested positive for the coronavirus. This was reported by Ofelia Kamavosyan, the deputy head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, in a conversation with the media.

She noted that the classes where these teachers worked have transitioned to remote learning. “The normal educational process continues at the school, with 40 absences out of 500 students,” she said.

According to Ofelia Kamavosyan, there are also cases of coronavirus infection in schools in various regions of Armenia, for instance, cases have been registered at the main school in the city of Noyemberyan in the Tavush region. However, she emphasized that there are no discussions about temporarily closing schools.
