Number of Victims from Kharkiv AN-26 Plane Crash Increased
The AN-26 aircraft in Kharkiv conducted six flights and made five successful landings on the day of the crash. This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Defense Andriy Taran.
The AN-26 military transport plane crashed last night during a training exercise near the city of Chuhuiv. There were 27 passengers on board.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office reported that 25 people were killed in the incident. Two individuals have been hospitalized, one of whom later succumbed to their injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the crash, characterized by violations of flight rules.
