Video: Military Plane Crashes in Ukraine, 18 Dead, Survivors Reported

A military aircraft of type AN-26 has crashed in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Besides the crew, the plane was carrying cadets from the Kharkiv Air Force University. According to media reports, the disaster occurred during landing.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, there were 23 people on board, and 18 of them have been confirmed dead. The head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Alexey Kucher, reported that there are survivors, two of whom are in critical condition.

The aircraft struck the ground violently during landing, igniting and caught fire completely.
