Nine New Cases of COVID-19 Registered in Artsakh Over the Last Day; Two Recoveries
According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, nine new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the republic. Of the infected individuals, eight are residents of Stepanakert, and one is from the Khndzoresk community in the Askeran region. The coronavirus was detected in four citizens of Khndzoresk and Stepanakert during examinations conducted at medical facilities.
The other infected individuals have been in contact with previously confirmed cases and were isolated earlier. Relevant work is being carried out to identify the sources of infection and to clarify the circle of contacts of the patients.
Two citizens have recovered. To date, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in 394 people, of whom 329 have overcome the disease. Currently, 63 individuals are receiving treatment, and a total of 85 citizens are isolated. Doctors assess the health condition of five patients as severe and that of seven as moderate.
For testing purposes, 73 samples have been taken. To date, a total of 13,862 samples have been tested.
