VIDEO. "Caucasus-2020" Exercises Involve 1500 Personnel and Nearly 300 Units of Military Equipment
The "Caucasus-2020" strategic command-staff exercise has commenced the live-fire phase at the "Alagyaz" training ground, involving units from the Southern Military District and the Armed Forces of Armenia.
Practical exercises are being conducted under the command of Lieutenant General Tigran Parvanyan, commander of the joint group of forces, with participation from infantry, artillery, tank, aviation, and air defense units.
During the exercises, elements of defense and counteroffensive operations are being practiced, with a focus on improving command of units in the execution of joint tasks and clarifying cooperation in terms of ensuring military security.
Overall, over 1,500 personnel and around 300 units of military equipment are involved in the "Caucasus-2020" exercises in Armenia.
