A Two-Story Building is Burning in Ptghunk Village: The Minister of Emergency Situations is at the Scene
On September 24, at 18:08, the regional crisis management center in Armavir received a call that a fire had broken out in one of the houses in Ptghunk village.
Due to the complexity of the fire, a 'Level 2' alarm was raised, prompting the dispatch of two firefighting teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with two firefighting teams from the capital's emergency department and an operational group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division.
A 'Level 3' alarm was subsequently declared, and an additional firefighting team from the regional rescue department was dispatched, as well as four teams from the emergency department in Yerevan, a duty physician from the Medical Support Department, and a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Division.
According to preliminary information, the fire started in apartments 7 and 8 on the second floor of the two-story building. Approximately 500-600 square meters are engulfed in flames. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries.
At the scene are Minister of Emergency Situations F. Tsolakyan, Director of the Rescue Service Major General V. Gabrielyan, and Deputy Colonel T. Petrosyan.
