Video: Shooter Who Shot Dog in Dilijan Turns Himself In to Police
On September 14, a citizen who called the police reported that a dog had been shot near one of the hotels in Dilijan. An operational group from the Dilijan Police Department discovered a deceased dog on Myasnikyan Street, in a bloody condition.
Law enforcement officials initiated intelligence and explanatory work aimed at identifying the person who shot the dog. Their efforts yielded results. A 30-year-old resident of Dilijan presented himself to the police and confessed to the act.
He handed over the smoothbore hunting rifle he had used to shoot the dog. Materials are being prepared on the case.
