Vehicle Loaded with Timber Relocated to Specially Protected Area

On September 22, around 22:40, officers from the Stepanavan police division checked a "Gazelle" vehicle loaded with timber on suspicion of illegally transporting wood materials. The driver failed to provide relevant documentation for the timber.

He reported that his brother had cut branches from trees in the nearby forest of Vardablur village using a chainsaw.

The vehicle has been relocated to the division's specially protected area. Materials are being prepared for further action.
