Six New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Artsakh
According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, six new cases of novel coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the republic. This was reported by the Information Headquarters.
Two of the infected individuals are residents of Stepanakert, and two are from Shushi. They are previously identified contacts of established clusters and had been isolated in advance. The other patients, who are also residents of Stepanakert, tested positive for the coronavirus during examinations at a medical facility.
Relevant work is being conducted to identify clusters of infection and to clarify the contacts of the patients. Two citizens have recovered.
To date, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in 385 individuals, of whom 327 have overcome the disease. Currently, 56 individuals are receiving treatment, and a total of 95 citizens are in isolation. Doctors assess the health condition of 4 patients as severe and 8 others as moderately severe.
For testing purposes, 113 samples have been collected, and to date, 13,789 samples have been tested.
