City Mayor's Service Vehicle Has Not Operated for Six Months Despite Assigned Driver: Khajakyan
David Khajakyan, the leader of the Luyts faction in the Yerevan Council, made a post on his Facebook page regarding the criminal case of the driver of the "Luyts" faction. He specifically noted that while the case was being prepared, Mayor Marutyan had dismissed his driver. However, Khajakyan had inquired specifically about one vehicle serving the mayor, which had an assigned driver, similar to that of the "Luyts" faction, but had not been used for about six months.
Khajakyan's post states: "Yesterday, the newspaper belonging to the Prime Minister responded to my post directed at the ruling authorities and (as the well-known region governor says) to their serving police leaders, which means another manipulation has been brought to light. The fact is that during the time this year when the criminal case against the Luyts faction's driver began to be prepared, Marutyan dismissed his driver from work. But as you know, 'the crime' has no statute of limitations and since the Bolshevik actions are predictable for me, I had asked about only one vehicle serving the mayor which, of course, had an assigned driver, just like in the case of the Luyts faction: as you can see, this vehicle has not operated for about six months, having an assigned driver, which means that according to our impartial law enforcement's formulations, Marutyan's driver has 'embezzled money from the community without actually performing work.' This issue is so petty that I would be ashamed to make Marutyan the subject of criticism, but that’s how today’s Bolsheviks running Armenia are, who allow their 'foot cleaners' to leave the country while they arrogantly investigate the case of their drivers receiving hundreds of thousands of dram."
It should be noted that Khajakyan had shared a video yesterday, in which it is particularly seen that during a response to journalists' questions, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan draws attention to the fact that he is his own vehicle’s driver.
