Accident on Aparan-Spitak Road Involving Nissan Tiida and VAZ-2101, Three Injured
On September 23, at 11:33 AM, a call was received at the Aragatsotn regional crisis management center stating that an accident had occurred on the 12th km of the Aparan-Spitak highway, with injuries reported and requiring rescue assistance, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue department of the MES.
It was revealed that a collision occurred between a Nissan Tiida (driven by Siranush S., born in 1992) and a VAZ-2101 (driven by Artavazd M., born in 1960), resulting in the drivers and a passenger in the VAZ-2101, Albert M. (born in 1952), being hospitalized at the Aparan Medical Center.
Rescuers helped remove and transported the passenger Hripsime P. (born in 1956) from the VAZ-2101 using a stretcher, who was also hospitalized at the Aparan Medical Center.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries and closed the valves on the gas tanks.
