Unexploded Mine Discovered in Aygehovit Village's 'Vardi Takh' Neighborhood
On September 22, at 11:16 AM, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a report that an unexploded mine had been discovered in the 'Vardi Takh' neighborhood of Aygehovit village.
A rapid response team from the Ministry of Emergencies' Civil Defense Forces, based at the Tavush special objects protection fire-rescue station, was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers secured the area and established a watch until the arrival of the sappers' team.
It was determined that the discovered item was a training anti-tank mine. The sapper team from the N military unit safely transported the mine to a secure location.
