Tragic Incident in Kotayk Region: Cross Falls on 52-Year-Old Man, Leading to His Death

On September 22, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 5:20 PM, the police station in Hrazdan received a call reporting a deceased man in the administrative area of Hrazdan city, specifically in a location referred to as 'Mamaner.'

Upon arrival, police officers and investigators discovered the body of a 52-year-old resident of the Jrarat neighborhood in Hrazdan, identified as A.K. According to information from a photojournalist, he died when the cross was being repositioned with the help of a tractor driver. After the tractor driver attempted to lift the cross with a crowbar, the cross fell on A.K., resulting in his immediate death at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident. As per the investigator's decision, several forensic examinations have been scheduled, including an autopsy.
