Health Workers Honored with Special Award at "Hero of Our Time" Ceremony

As part of the events dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia, a special award was presented to all health workers from 20 medical institutions at the "Hero of Our Time" award ceremony held at the Zvartnots Cathedral, in recognition of their selfless work during the pandemic.

The award was presented by Petros Petrosyan, who overcame the coronavirus, to Sargis Ghazaryan, the head of the COVID-19 clinic at the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.

Sargis Ghazaryan expressed gratitude on behalf of all doctors for the high appreciation of their work and for the support provided by the Government during the difficult times of the coronavirus.

The "Hero of Our Time" award ceremony recognizes and values citizens who have established their own enterprises and created businesses, connecting their futures with that of Armenia. Earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page that the independence day would be celebrated for the second year in honor of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. The event will be accompanied by a musical program.
