Driver of '07' Hits Pedestrian on Ejmiadzin-Ashtarak Road

On September 22, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Armavir province. Around 12:10 PM, the driver of a VAZ 2107 vehicle struck an 82-year-old pedestrian, Lendrush Tadevosyan, a resident of the village of Mugni, on the Vagharsapat-Ashtarak highway, within the administrative territory of Shahumyan village.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and provided assistance to the injured pedestrian; however, the victim lost consciousness and died at the scene.

Those gathered at the scene noted that the driver's condition had deteriorated, and he was taken to the Vagharsapat Medical Center.
