Director of 'Beauty of Armenia Tour' Wanted, Victims Can Approach Investigative Committee

The investigation continues into the case of fraud committed by the director of the tourist agency 'Beauty of Armenia Tour' in the Central and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan, where it is alleged that he deliberately embezzled significant amounts of money from various individuals through deception and misuse of trust.

Previously, we reported that during the investigation, numerous applications from citizens had been submitted to the body conducting the proceedings. Several criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents, which have been combined into one proceeding.

Based on the comprehensive, complete, and objective examination of evidence collected in the criminal case and their analysis and joint assessment, a decision has been made to involve the director of the tourist agency as a defendant under the first part of clause 3 of Article 178 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. A search for him has been announced.

The prosecuting authority has submitted a motion to the court for his detention as a preventive measure, which has been granted. The investigation is ongoing as investigative and other procedural actions are being carried out to ensure a comprehensive, complete, and objective examination of the circumstances of the case.
