Court Declares Vardan Oskanyan's Son Bankrupt and Imposes a Lien on His Property
The son of former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former parliament member Vardan Oskanyan has been declared bankrupt by the ruling of the bankruptcy court judge Arsen Babayan. NEWS.am learned this from the Judicial Information System.
It is noteworthy that the court has approved the application of «Ardshinbank» CJSC against Ara Oskanyan to declare him bankrupt.
According to the bank, the debtor has not fulfilled his obligations under the loan agreement, which resulted in a notice of debt collection being submitted by the bank. However, the debtor again failed to meet the obligations stipulated in the loan agreement.
The debtor's debt to «Ardshinbank» CJSC amounts to 235,758.98 USD and 1,010,560.20 AMD, of which the outstanding loan balance is 191,867.54 USD. This comprises 184,142.11 USD as the principal loan balance, 7,725.43 USD as overdue principal, and total interest of 28,391.51 USD, with 625.80 USD as timely interest and 26,084.54 USD as overdue interest, while the overdue loan interest is 1,681.17 USD. Penalties amount to 15,499.92 USD, with other obligations including unpaid commissions of 1,010,560.20 AMD, and the number of days overdue amounts to 712 days.
Additionally, the court has imposed a lien on the property owned by Ara Oskanyan, except for those assets which cannot be confiscated under the law.
