In celebration of the 29th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, the famous Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro has been illuminated in the colors of the Armenian tricolor.
This was reported by the FMGNews website. Thus, the brotherly nation of Brazil congratulated the friendly Armenian people on the occasion of Independence Day.
