Ensure What Happened in May 1994, Other Paths Will Lead to Diplomatic Wordplay: Hasratyan
The former head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh Armed Forces, Senor Hasratyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "What the monarch of the neighboring country stated about the negotiations during the interview with Azerbaijani television yesterday can be described as a diplomatic wordplay, which can be used by the Armenian side without any editing, but at the same time, it is necessary to be prepared for any developments.
The most appropriate option is as follows: continue to strengthen our own army and, if necessary, resort to a preventive strike... In other words, continue to do what was done during the first Nagorno-Karabakh war from 1991 to 1994.
I believe that in this case, it will be possible to secure a negotiation process similar to that of May 1994, and regarding its effectiveness, just as the father of Azerbaijan's current monarch did not doubt, so too is it unlikely that today's heir will have any doubts about it.
This is the only realistic way to achieve effective negotiations between the parties; other paths will always lead, as I mentioned above, to diplomatic wordplay.
