Video: We Have Strengthened Our Positions on the Border, Which Displeases the Opponent, Says Tavush Governor
After the events of July, we observe an increase in the activity of the opponent on the border, Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan stated in response to media inquiries.
“Before the July events, especially over the last year to year and a half, there was relative peace, and in this regard, the recent events have significantly changed the situation,” said the governor.
He noted that the Armenian side has strengthened its positions on the border, which probably does not please the opponent. “They are trying to continue provocations; unfortunately, we had a casualty, for which I extend my condolences to our people,” the governor added.
Hayk Chobanyan emphasized that this incident should be responded to in the harshest manner, because human life is the greatest value that we have. “We must do everything both in terms of engineering and technology to ensure that our soldiers' lives are not endangered on the border,” said the Tavush governor.
