Footage: Warehouse Manager Steals 8 Million Dram Worth of Cable in Vanadzor

The police in Vanadzor have uncovered a theft case, as reported by the Armenian police.

On August 31, the Taroni police department received a report that cables were stolen from a company located on Tigran Mets Avenue in Vanadzor between July 20 and August 27.

An operational group was sent to the scene. The police examined how and from where the theft occurred and compiled a report. A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident.

As a result of the law enforcement officers' work, information was obtained that the theft was committed by the company's warehouse manager, a 26-year-old resident of Moscowyan Street in Vanadzor.

On September 15, the suspect was detained and presented to the prosecuting authority. He confessed to stealing various types of cables from the company's warehouse, causing significant damage estimated at about 8,000,000 dram to the company.

The circumstances surrounding the case are being clarified. The pre-trial investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
