“Lydian Armenia” has issued a statement and a video regarding the Caterpillar equipment fleet of “Lydian”: “As previously reported, “Lydian Armenia” continues to assess the damages caused by two years of illegal activities, as well as to restore infrastructure, improve roads, and recover equipment in the Amulsar area. More than 80 employees, most of whom are from neighboring communities of Amulsar, are engaged in the work.

Last week, representatives from Zeppelin Armenia were also present in Amulsar, conducting renovation work on “Lydian’s” Caterpillar fleet. It is worth noting that “Lydian's” fleet in Amulsar is the largest in Armenia, with a total value of 65 million USD. Due to the illegal blockade of roads, the equipment has fallen into disrepair and suffered significant damage; experts do not rule out the possibility of theft, as some valuable spare parts have gone missing. Specialists are working on assessing the damages and recovering the equipment.

Some of the restored equipment has already been involved in certain works taking place in Amulsar. Meanwhile, groups of individuals carrying out illegal activities around Amulsar continue to regularly disrupt employee access, threatening local community residents. “Lydian Armenia” will protect the Amulsar area from unlawful encroachments within the framework of the law. Ensuring the safety of numerous residents earning their livelihoods through legal work in the communities is the responsibility and obligation of the law enforcement system, which we hope will be duly fulfilled,” the statement reads.
