35 Million Dollars Allocated for Construction of New Metro Station: Mayor Marutyan
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan addressed reporters regarding the construction of new metro stations. He mentioned that efforts were made to engage private investors to alleviate the financial burden on the state, but the conditions proposed by various companies and private investors were not particularly favorable for the city and the government.
According to Marutyan, the government has also assessed the situation similarly, and they have ultimately agreed that the project will be funded with public resources.
The mayor reported that a competition for the project's design is currently being developed, and once that is concluded, a tender for the construction work will be announced. He specified that approximately 35 million dollars is involved, and the government has assured that it can allocate these funds.
