Conor McGregor Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Sexual Assault and Indecent Behavior

The Irish mixed martial artist and former champion in two weight classes of the UFC, Conor McGregor, has been arrested.

The 32-year-old athlete is suspected of attempted sexual assault and indecent behavior. A corresponding complaint was received on September 10. The Irishman was reportedly relaxing on the island of Corsica during that time.

McGregor denies the allegations against him and does not admit to any wrongdoing. He has provided a statement to the French police.

McGregor's manager, Audie Attar, stated that McGregor has never engaged in and will never engage in behavior aimed at making headlines for a price.
