Georgian Prime Minister Announces Start of Second Wave of Coronavirus in the Country
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, announced during a government meeting that the expected second wave of coronavirus has effectively begun, but the authorities are managing the situation.
“Today’s 57 new cases identified, along with yesterday’s 44, directly indicate that the epidemiological situation in the country is gradually changing. The main thing is that there is no reason for panic, since we are fully controlling the situation,” stated the Prime Minister.
It is noteworthy that on September 10, Georgia recorded a daily increase in coronavirus cases with a peak of 57 new cases.
