Wooden Structures Burn in Talin; 61-Year-Old Man Suffers Burns
On September 8 at 15:31, the Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that there was a fire on Tumanyan Street in the city of Talin. Emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Aragatsotn regional rescue department dispatched two fire-fighting units, while one water truck from the Shirak regional rescue department and two 7-ton water trucks from the Talin municipality also headed to the scene.
Before the arrival of the rescuers, Slavic H. (born 1959) sustained first-degree burns on his left leg, and emergency medical personnel on the scene provided first aid. The citizen refused hospitalization.
The fire was contained by 16:28 and extinguished by 22:28. The wooden structures of the roof of one of the houses on the first alley of Tumanyan Street (approximately 30 square meters), two windows, and about 900 kilograms of accumulated animal feed were burned.
