Police Officers Discover 11 Packages of Marijuana

Officers from the Patrol and Public Security Department of Hrazdan received operational information regarding illegal drug trafficking, which was acted upon in collaboration with the police department in Charentsavan. This was reported by the police of the Republic of Armenia.

According to sources, one of the residents of the 4th district of Charentsavan was reportedly keeping illegal drugs at his workplace. Within the framework of a criminal case initiated at the Charentsavan police department, a search was conducted on September 1 in the office of a 44-year-old man.

Police officers discovered and seized 11 packages containing a dried, finely ground greenish substance resembling marijuana, weighing over 65 grams in total. The suspect claimed that the packages belonged to him.

Expert examinations have been commissioned, and the pre-trial investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
