Actor Mikhail Efremov Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison

Actor Mikhail Efremov has been sentenced to 8 years in prison. The court also ordered him to pay 800,000 rubles as compensation to the son of the deceased Sergey Zakharov.

Efremov showed no reaction to the verdict in court, standing still without changing his expression.

It is worth recalling that the traffic accident involving Efremov occurred on June 8 in Smolensk Square, Moscow. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by the actor, swerved into the opposite lane and collided with a Lada vehicle. The driver of the Lada died as a result of the crash.
