World No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has been disqualified from the US Open after a ninth-round match for unsportsmanlike conduct. In the first set, while selecting a ball before serving, Djokovic hit a line judge with a ball, causing her to fall.

Officials decided to register a loss for the Serbian tennis star, noting that this incident was not the first display of aggression during the match.

As a result of the disqualification, the renowned athlete will lose all points earned at the US Open and any monetary prizes from the tournament.

Later, Djokovic stated that he needs to learn from what happened to become a better athlete and a better person.
