Garik Khalamov's assistant commented on media reports regarding the artist's alleged infection with coronavirus, stating that these claims are not true.

Media outlets had reported that productions for the "Comedy Club" scheduled in Barvikha near Moscow were canceled due to Khalamov's infection. "No, he has not contracted Covid-19; he has had a slight fever," said the assistant.
