Body of 19-Year-Old Found in Canal Near Argina Village

On September 6, at 23:35, rescuers discovered the body of Narek M. (born in 2001) in a canal near Argina village and retrieved it from the water with the assistance of local citizens.

It is noteworthy that on September 6, at 16:23, the Regional Crisis Management Center received a call about a citizen who had fallen into the Aragatstan-Artani canal. A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Armenia was dispatched to the scene.

Workers from the ‘Water Supply’ LLC undertook efforts to stop the flow of water. Search operations were conducted along the Aragatstan-Artani canal in two directions (approximately 10 km). A total of 5 rescue service personnel and 15 citizens participated in the efforts.
