73-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Hit by Car; Driver Flees the Scene
On September 5, at 10:30 PM, a 'Suzuki' vehicle hit 73-year-old Vazgen Darbinyan at the beginning of the tunnel where Khanzhyan and Agatangeghos streets intersect in Yerevan. Darbinyan died at the scene.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim behind. Following subsequent measures, the 24-year-old driver of the 'Suzuki' was located and arrested. An investigation is underway.
